Andrew Arthur, Managing Director

Andrew holds a juris doctor degree from Columbia University in New York City and gained experience in private placements and securities offerings before moving on to theatre and film. Before founding StarWolf Media Ltd, he served as general counsel and director of a hightech startup and as founder and managing director of an acclaimed theatre production company. He has produced and directed four short films which premiered at several festivals including Cannes Court Métrage, Festival de Cannes. Andrew is also an award-winning screenwriter, holds the top prize at The Nantucket Film Festival, and his script which is the basis of Mrs. Churchill’s War was a Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship Competition of the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, home of the Oscars® Quarter-Finalist.

Jane LeCompte, Director of Development

Jane has a Ph.D. in English literature and thirty published novels to her credit. Her books have been published in the UK, Sweden, Italy, Denmark, France, Germany, Russia, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, and Spain, as well as the US. Her work has received outstanding reviews from Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Library Journal, and other leading industry publications.

Charles Salmon, Producer

Founder of Thai Occidental Productions, Charles has worked in the film industry for more than thirty years. His production experience ranges from BBC TV and films to independent and studio features. Among his many credits are: The Railway Man, The Darkest Hour, Flawless, and numerous episodes of The Young Indiana Jones. Thai Occidental Productions combines western film production management and fiscal transparency with the strong talent and skills that exists in the east, offering services which bring the highest production values to feature films, TV and commercials. Founded in 2006, Thai Occidental Productions has now completed over seven international feature films and major TV series.

 
 

Will Haigh-Gannon, Assistant Producer

With a degree in film, tv and digital production from Bath Spa University and several short films to his credit, Will works in the development of film and streaming projects, the communication and pitching of production ideas, social media outreach, production scheduling, assisting the managing director, and general problem solving.

Brian Bortz, Executive Producer

Brian, an executive specializing in international business, acquisitions, financing and venture capital projects. Raises financing for renewable energy, humanitarian and infrastructure projects and films. Brian is a leading expert in communications having served as CEO of several international corporations. Brian holds a MSc in Data Communications from UCL, University of London.

Elliot Grove, Advisor

Elliot, founder and director, Raindance Film Festival, has worked on over sixty feature films in a variety of capacities. In 1992 in London he launched Raindance, now the largest independent film festival in the U.K. and Europe with a film school that operates in major cities including London, Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Budapest, Berlin and Brussels. Named by Variety as one of the world’s top unmissable film festivals, Raindance showcases filmmakers from around the world to an audience of 15,000 attendees including film executives. In 1998 he launched the British Independent Film Awards, which celebrates, supports and promotes British independent cinema and filmmaking talent.

Richard Samuel, Executive Producer

Richard is the Chief Investment Officer of the Lotus Energy Group and Managing Director of Lotus Energy Limited (UK). He has over 25 years in the global financial buyout market having recently raised £1.4bn of equity as part of the £4.0bn flotation of the Automobile Association in Europe’s largest ever accelerated IPO. Richard has deep experience in raising debt and equity financing for privately held companies. Previous roles include senior executive positions at leading European financial institutions, including Alcentra limited (investment subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon), Intermediate Capital Group and Deutsche Bank/Morgan Grenfell.
